Small groups are a great way to connect with others & grow spiritually. It's in community that God often will encourage & challenge us to move beyond hearing Truth into discovering it for ourselves & applying it to our own lives.
We have a variety of small groups available - from Sunday School & discipleship classes on Sundays to Bible studies during the week!
The Acts of the Apostles (co-ed)
In a world that is unsure of where to find truth or purpose, the book of Acts stands apart. It reveals God’s plan for global redemption, His purpose for our lives, and the power He has given us to accomplish His mission.
In this 8-week video series, Louie Giglio will walk us through the story of the early church. Acts may have been written two thousand years ago, but God is calling us to be a part of that story today.
Begins September 12, 2021

Being chosen by Jesus has beautiful & far-reaching implications—although it says even more about the Chooser than the choosee. What does it actually mean to be Chosen? Join us as we explore the life of Jesus, using excerpts of the TV series The Chosen to help connect us to what we read in the Bible in a brand-new way. Together we’ll come to realize that we are called, cherished, & carried by Jesus Christ.
Begins September 12, 2021

For Teens: Sunday Night Discipleship
Each week, our teens (Grades 7-12) will discover how the Bible relates to their every day lives in this ongoing youth discipleship class.
FALL 2021 Discipleship Class: Guardrails
Guardrails. No one needs one, until they do.
We may never notice guardrails, but they are important barriers between us & certain danger. Ever wonder what things would look like to have guardrails in other areas of your life?
In this youth Bible study, students will be challenged to stop flirting with disaster & learn how to establish personal guardrails in their lives.
Facilitator: Pastor Dan Spoon

Tuesday AM - Ladies Bible Study
Jesus & Women: In the First Century and Now
“Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you.” (Matthew 9:22)
Imagine walking the dusty roads of Galilee with Jesus of Nazareth—braving jostling crowds just to touch the edge of His cloak and hear Him say, "Take heart, daughter, your faith has healed you." Those words, once meant to comfort a hurting woman’s soul thousands of years ago, were also meant for you.
Join biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland on those dusty roads as she transports you back to Jesus' world, stepping into the footsteps of the women who came face to face with the living God. Over 7 sessions, examine the historical and cultural climate of first-century Middle Eastern society to not only understand Jesus more deeply but to fuel your worship of Him today.
Start date: Tuesday, September 21, 2021
Location: FBCL Room 133
Facilitator: Wendy Griggs
